Christianity is a series of steps. We should always be looking for our next move to grow in our faith. These are the steps we believe are foundational to a growing relationship with Christ.

First things first. The single most important decision we’ll ever make is the one to follow Jesus. Salvation is more simple than it might sound. It is a belief in Jesus as the Son of God who took our sin and shame and nailed it to the cross. This belief compels us to live differently- choosing to love God and to love the people He has placed around us. (Romans 10:9,10 Luke 10:27)

Go Public. Baptism is a by-product of our salvation. It is our way of going public with our faith, letting those in our community know that the old has gone and the new has come. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward condition. (Matthew 28:19) Sign up to be baptized.

Small Groups

You can’t do life alone. Humans have innate desires for community. Needs for belonging, encouragement and love. We believe this is best achieved through small groups of people on the same journey. (Colossians 3:12-14)

You can’t out give God. One of the greatest expressions of faith for a follower of Jesus is by expressing our generosity. From a business perspective, the local church is the best place to invest your money. No other opportunity in the world brings a comparable return. (Matthew 6:24) You can give safely and securely here.

Saved people serve people. We believe the greatest entity in the world is the local church. Serving in the church provides a front row seat to the life change and transformation that takes place every single week. Jesus placed a heavy dose of emphasis on serving when He said He “didn’t come to be served, but to serve.” (Mark 10:45)

Invite Others

Invest and invite. The Bible says that we are a “city on a hill”. Our response to the Gospel and the grace we’ve received in Jesus should be to extend that hope to others. We are convinced this is best achieved through investing in the lives of those God has placed around you and inviting them to church. (Matthew 5:14)
